Your Wedding Is a Day.
Your Covenant Is a Lifetime.
Christ-centered ceremonies created with reverence, personality, and your unique love story in mind.
A Christ-Centered Ceremony That Actually Feels Like You.
Your ceremony should feel like you. It may be intimate and reverent, joyful and full of laughter, beautifully traditional, wonderfully unconventional, or somewhere in between.
My role is to listen to your story, understand what matters to you, and help create a Christ-centered ceremony that honors God’s design for marriage while reflecting the personalities of the two people entering it.
When you invite me to stand with you at the altar, I believe I become invested in more than your wedding day.
I care about the marriage that begins when the ceremony ends.
We’ll talk about how you met, what you love about one another, what brought you to this moment, and what you want your ceremony to feel like. Together, we’ll shape the Scripture, vows, exchanges, traditions, personal elements, and even the unexpected touches that make the ceremony yours. If you want traditional vows and communion, beautiful. If you want laughter, family participation, a meaningful cultural tradition, or something wonderfully specific to your story, let’s talk about it.
What Your Wedding Officiating Experience Includes
01
Plan
We begin with a conversation about the two of you. We’ll talk about your story, your vision for the ceremony, the atmosphere you want to create, and the elements that matter most to you.
02
Personalize
Together, we’ll shape the ceremony around your story, values, and personalities, including Scripture, vows, traditions, meaningful elements, and those little details that make the ceremony unmistakably yours.
03
Celebrate
On your wedding day, I’ll arrive prepared, connect with your coordinator, pray with you if desired, and officiate a Christ-centered ceremony that is meaningful, personal, and kept to approximately 30 minutes.
What’s Included in Your Ceremony
From our first conversation through the signing of your marriage license, your officiating experience is thoughtfully prepared around your relationship, your faith, and the kind of ceremony you want to remember.
Wedding Officiating | $450
Your officiating service includes your initial consultation, ceremony preparation, final pre-wedding check-in, wedding-day officiating, and completion and signing of your marriage license.
$150 retainer reserves your wedding date.
Remaining balance: $300
Same-Day & Simple Ceremony | $275
Need an officiant without the full ceremony-planning experience? This option is designed for couples seeking a simple ceremony or those who need an officiant on short notice.
Includes a brief consultation, a prepared Christ-centered ceremony of approximately 10–15 minutes, wedding-day officiating, and completion and signing of the marriage license.
Subject to availability. Personalized ceremony writing and rehearsal are not included.
Wedding Rehearsal | +$150
If you would like me present for your rehearsal, I will guide the officiant-led portions of the ceremony and coordinate those elements with your wedding planner or coordinator.
Destination Wedding Ceremony | Starting at $450 + Travel
For couples taking their celebration beyond the Tampa Bay area, destination wedding officiating is available within the United States and internationally.
Your ceremony includes the same personalized planning and Christ-centered officiating experience as the full Wedding Officiating service.
For destination weddings, the couple is responsible for:
- Round-trip transportation and necessary local transportation
- Lodging for the required stay
- Two meals, including dinner
- Any additional travel-related expenses agreed upon before booking
Destination wedding pricing begins at $450, with travel accommodations and expenses provided separately by the couple. Additional fees may apply depending on the destination, length of stay, or travel requirements.
Planning an International Destination Wedding?
Marriage laws vary by country, and my ability to perform your ceremony does not necessarily mean I am legally authorized to solemnize the marriage in your destination country. Couples who wish for their marriage to be legally completed abroad are responsible for determining and satisfying the marriage requirements of that country, including the use of a locally authorized civil or religious officiant when required.
Another option is to complete your legal marriage in Florida before traveling and have me officiate your destination ceremony as the celebration of your covenant. This can allow you to enjoy the ceremony you envisioned abroad without relying on the destination ceremony to establish your legal marital status.
Preparing for More Than a Wedding
A beautiful wedding deserves thoughtful preparation, and so does the marriage that follows it. I strongly encourage couples to participate in premarital counseling before entering marriage, even when it is not required for officiating services.
Behind the Veil Worldwide Ministries offers a free 12-session premarital preparation journey designed to help couples explore their expectations, strengthen their relationship, address areas that may need healing or growth, and prepare intentionally for covenant marriage.
A Few Things to Know Before Booking
Your Date & Retainer
A $150 retainer is required to reserve your wedding date for full wedding officiating services and is applied toward your total balance. Your date is not considered reserved until the retainer has been received and your service agreement has been completed. The remaining balance must be paid before the wedding.
Marriage License
Couples are responsible for obtaining a valid marriage license and bringing it to the ceremony. I will complete and sign the officiant portion following the ceremony and ensure it is handled according to the requirements of the issuing clerk.
Christ-Centered Ceremonies
Wedding ceremonies are Christ-centered and reflect a biblical understanding of marriage. Couples do not have to be members of Behind the Veil Worldwide Ministries to inquire about officiating services but should be comfortable with the Christian nature of the ceremony.
Marriage & Ministry Convictions
In accordance with my sincerely held Christian beliefs, I officiate marriages between one biological man and one biological woman. Because I take the marriage covenant seriously, I may recommend additional conversation, prayer, counseling, or postponing the ceremony if significant concerns arise during the planning process.
Changes & Cancellations
Life happens, and wedding plans sometimes change. Please communicate date, time, venue, or other significant changes as soon as possible. Changes are subject to availability. Cancellation, rescheduling, and retainer terms will be outlined in your service agreement.
Travel
Wedding officiating is available throughout the Tampa Bay area, with additional travel considered upon request. Any travel fee that applies will be discussed and agreed upon before your booking is finalized.
